The Transformation

Pregnancy is an AMAZING miracle! Just amazing. God created such an incredible process that we get to be apart of...growing a baby!!

I am honored and blown away by the miracle that pregnancy is. I am honored to be a mommy and can't explain in words the way God created our bodies to knit a life inside.

Here is a glimpse into my journey from 16 to 36 weeks.

Baby Emily's Nursery

I am SO excited to share photos of baby Emily's nursery! Matt and I have absolutely LOVED the process of creating this space for her. We have spent special, quality time as we've worked on it.

I'll be honest, it was usually Matt doing a lot of the work and me sitting on the floor or the chair while we make decisions together. But, painting, thrifting, hanging things, and arranging everything has created a room that we are so happy with!

We are so excited for her to come, and we are really, really ready!

I designed a collage for our sweet girl. I designed it in Photoshop with layers of things we love and had it printed. Our girl is so loved already!

It's Becoming So Real

I know we still have four weeks until our due date with sweet Emily, but I am flooded with emotion about what that means! It is getting so close, and really...after next week, "they" say that she can come whenever.

It's funny that people predict when she will come and to be honest, I have no idea. I think I am protecting myself a little because I will be just fine if she waits until her due date. But regardless, it is so incredibly exciting, crazy, amazing, and phenomenal that we get to meet our baby soon!!

I cry tears of anticipation and have dreamed of this day forever. There are a lot of things I didn't picture as a young girl. I didn't picture getting engaged, planning a wedding, my wedding dress, or even my wedding day. (Though I dreamed of being married!).

But I have pictured being pregnant and having a baby. I have envisioned, dreamed of, thought about, and waited for this day for as long as I can remember. Crazy, huh?

I dream of that moment when we first get to see her face, and her precious little body. A body that God has knitted together inside me. I cannot even explain what that's like. God has brought Matt and I together to create a life that are equal parts of each of us. This is a complete miracle...a complete and amazing work of His hands that cannot be explained in proper words.

This journey has been one of joy, love, growth, some discomfort, and ultimately one that God has worked through.

I have seen qualities in Matt that I never imagined. Actually, I did. I saw them, but it has been such a gift to see and experience this with him. His love, care, intention, and excitement have been incredible. His desire to be a father, an example, and a leader for our family has melted my heart and created such gratefulness in ways I didn't imagine.

As we move forward to becoming parents to a little life, it can be overwhelming and scary as it's all new. Many people share advice and experiences, and ultimately, we will walk forward in God's grace as we raise our baby girl...having victories and failures along the way.

So, as we wait, and anticipate her arrival, we pray to our loving Father for His timing, His protection, and His will in her birth. I am realizing how real this is. The time is near and I couldn't be more happy and excited!

Stay tuned for a nursery update. We are nearly finished with it, and I can't wait to share all the pics!

{Preview} Our Sweet Maternity Session!

I just have to share these previews of our maternity session taken by Tori from ShutterChic Photography!

I just love them. I was hoping to capture Matt and I's love and our pure awe and excitement for our soon-to-be-here baby girl, Emily. And so far, I am elated by these oh-so-pretty shots.

I can't wait to see more...and I am so happy and thankful to have these!

I look at these pictures and it's so crazy and amazing all at the same time. We are going to be parents!! I am 30 weeks pregnant today, and I am still blown away by this process of growing a sweet human inside my belly. Wow.

There will be more to excited!! And thank you, Tori!

Fun Friends. Fun Wedding. Fun Signs.

I loved the creativity I was able to participate in (very-impromtu-like)! It was for a great friend's wedding! It was on a beautiful farm on a dreamy, perfect-sunset-light kind of night, and we were able to spend some time with friends that we haven't seen in awhile.

The desserts were delicious and the details of the wedding were so organic, summery, and natural. It was awesome.

Congratulations to Morgan and Kim on their super-special day!!

When I (Veronica) began planning my own wedding (in October of 2011), I began looking at the most adorable weddings where everything looked so planned, thought out, and beautiful!

With my love of design, I couldn't wait to design all the pieces! This is where this concept came from for me. I thought, "What if there are other brides out there who love this idea and need someone to come alongside them to carry this through?"

I would love to join you in making your wedding beautiful!

Through save-the-dates, invitations, programs, menus, table numbers, etc...we can come up with something that represents you and your husband-to-be!

Please shoot me an email ( or give me a call (970.396.4237) for a design quote and to start the process! I can't wait to meet you!

I have included three wedding suites I have available below. Each one can be customized to fit the specifics and color scheme of your unique wedding brand! We can also design your brand from concept to finished pieces!

NEW news!

There have been really fantastic things going on over here with us! We are expecting Baby Preston in October!! We are so thankful and feel so blessed!

Our Special Christmas

What a fabulous time. Remembering the reason of the season in Jesus' birth is my favorite part. My second favorite part is time with family! We had such a great time celebrating with both of ours.

Prime rib dinner at our place, brunch and gifts at my parent's for Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day with the Preston's. Time together, great food, gifts, and lots of love. I'm so thankful.

I am looking forward to 2013! 2012 was a great year, also with it's challenges and sorrows.

I am excited for what God has in this next year!

The Edingers

How adorable is their family? Like, SO adorable!

Matt, my hot and talented hubby, took some photos of some of our favorite people: my twin and her family. It was freezing, and we didn't have a lot of time left with the sun, but it was brisk, exciting, and a success!

I love them so, so much!

In The Mood

I designed some quick Christmas backgrounds for work, and I have to tell got me so excited! This year especially, I am just waiting in anticipation for the amazing birth of Jesus. CHRISTMAS!

I wanted to share some fun and encourage you to anticipate what this holiday means...truly. The birth of our Savior. We can celebrate everyday, and we should, but there is just something about the WHOLE season too!

Christmas Crafting

Each year, I talk about making fun handmade gifts and crafts. This year, you guys, I made a list! A long, detailed, and exciting list!

We have a Craft Fair at work on Tuesday, December 4th from 11am-2pm (everyone welcome). I found this to be a great goal to reserve a spot and start crafting.

I can't wait to see it all come to fruition. Posts to come later to share the progress!

Check out my Christmas Pinterest board for some ideas I found to be irresistible!

There are seasons in life that cause us to look beyond our current circumstances to focus on what we are thankful for.

In the past month, we have been through a loss that I would have never imagined we would go through. There has been grief, questions, and fewer answers.

During this Thanksgiving season, I am thankful for so much. More than ever, I am thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ. For redemption, for grace, for love. And that no matter what happens in our life, He never leaves us. Ever.

I am so grateful for my incredible husband, my amazing family, and my sweet friends.

I hope that this season highlights the most important things in your life.

Happy Thanksgiving, love the Prestons.

Beautiful Brooke

Matt and I had the privilege of taking Brooke's senior pictures! Brooke is a long-time family friend. Her mom, Maxine was Val and I's gymnastics coach when we were 10, and then again in high school!

Isn't she beautiful? And so grown up!

I was also so impressed with my talented husband! He took my favs of the day, and it was so fun shooting with him.
